Arcana Napa Valley Red Wine

A R C A N A began as an adventurous and fun blending session by exceptional winemakers from some of Napa Valley’s finest fruit.

They were looking for something they could share with friends at dinners and gatherings that would not be so "Napa typical" but still be mind-blowing. The two were so blown away by the result that they vowed to keep the exact varietal makeup a mystery and a star was born.

After a few years of sharing with us and us loving the wine, we talked them into making it as a retail blend for us so others around the U.S. could enjoy it too.

Our name A R C A N A, (secrets / mysteries), was born when one of the winemakers agreed to make the blend for us but asked us not to reveal the recipe / to keep it a secret!

VINTAGE NOTES: In making the 2023 A R C A N A Cabernet Sauvignon, we hand selected vineyard sites throughout the Napa Valley for this exclusive blend. The grapes were harvested with a level of freshness rarely found in Napa Cabernet. This wine has vividly preserved flavors and is aged in neutral oak barrels with 20% new oak to round out the flavors.

WINEMAKER NOTES: Polished and refined, with deep concentration rich, intense and radiant. Graphite, plums, crème de cassis, lavender and rose petal notes are all laced together with stewed plum, cocoa and aged leather yet there is plenty of minerality underpinning the fruit. Red stone fruits build into the tense, brilliant finish.
